Plow working units – Plow body

Plow working units – Plow body.

The plow body is its main working unit. It is made up of parts, which directly affect the furrow slice, how: blade and mouldboard, and from passive parts, how: leg and skid. The ploughshare and the mouldboard form a continuous working surface and are attached to the leg with special screws together with the skid. The post is bolted to the plow frame. The skid helps to guide the plow and to maintain a constant plowing depth. The skid of the last plow body is fitted with a heel. The heel is bolted to the skid, making it easy to replace, when it is wiped off. The task of the stiffening bar is to protect the mouldboard wing against deformation.
Blade. During plowing, the share cuts the furrow and places it on the mouldboard. Due to the forward movement of the plow and the inclination of the ploughshare and the mouldboard, the furrow slides along the surface of the mouldboard, crumbles and turns over. It is then that its mixing occurs.
