Replace the friction linings of the clutch disc.
Before replacing the friction linings, the clutch disc must be checked, whether it has twisted. Replace the twisted shield with a new one. In order to check the condition of the torsional vibration damper springs, place the disc on the splines of the clutch shaft, mounted in a vice, and then manually turn the dial left and right. Weakened or damaged springs must be replaced with new ones, because even the uneven tension of the springs can cause noisy operation of the clutch.
After checking the clutch disc, rivets to it (or sticks) friction linings, usually supplied as thickness rings 2,5-5,0 Mm. Before fixing the cladding, it works well, whether their thickness corresponds to the dimension prescribed for the type of coupling.
