Engine cooling system 1300 Turbo – Fiat Uno

Engine cooling system 1300 Turbo is closed type, with an expansion tank. The coolant pump is located on the right side of the engine and is driven by a V-belt. After the engine is warm, the thermostat closes the bypass line and fluid flows through the radiator. A heater and a recharging compressor are also connected to the cooling system. The cooling system components come from the engine 1300.

The thermostat starts to open at 78ºC…82ºC. and it is fully opened at a temperature of 90…94ºC. The first stage radiator fan is turned on at a temperature of 86…90ºC, and shutdown at temperature 81 …85°C. The second stage of the fan is turned on at a temperature of 90…94° C and turned off when the temperature drops to 85…89°C.
