Correcting the plow beam position

Correcting the plow beam position.
In the plows, which are smaller than the track width of the tractor, the drawbar may not be attached to the tractor's symmetry axis. To minimize the twist of the plow and the twist of the tractor with asymmetrical hitching, position of the plow's drawbar should be corrected. For this purpose, the plow should be positioned behind the tractor like this, that the furrow wheel of the plow is in line with the right tractor wheels, which in time of plowing will, after all, be guided in the furrow. After determining the center of the plow resistance and the axis of symmetry of the tractor, the plow drawbar should be set parallel to the furrow, in the middle of the distance between the plow resistance line and the center line of the tractor. For this purpose, the drawbar of the plow is moved into another opening of the cross-member and accordingly stiffened with a brace. Perform a similar adjustment in the horizontal plane on the tractor. In the vertical plane, the points of attachment of the drawbar to the tractor and to the plow should lie on a straight line passing through the center of the plow resistance.
