Engine hull 1300 Turbo – Fiat Uno

The hull is cast iron with cylinders made directly into the hull material. This engine part is from a naturally aspirated engine 1300. however, it is adequately reinforced. The hull is marked M603AT 13 and has holes for lubrication and turbocharger mounts, a channel for supplying coolant to the turbocharger, holes for fastening the right drive shaft bracket and alternator, and flange for fastening the fluid pump. The coolant drain plug has been moved forward. They are mounted in the main pivot sockets 4 spray nozzles, for cooling pistons with oil. The nozzle has a valve, which ensures proper lubrication of the main shells. The valve opens against oil pressure 1.1 only (0.11 Mpa).

■ The cleaned hull is verified and controlled. The conicity and ovality of the cylinders must not exceed 0.05 Mm.

■ After finishing the cylinder surfaces, the conicity and ovality must not exceed 0,005 Mm.

■ The working clearance of the piston is within 0.04…0,06 Mm.

■ The nominal diameter of the holes in the intermediate shaft bearing bushes is 35,664…35.684 mm in 32,000…32,020 Mm. Worn bushes can be replaced with a tool 1860372000. New bushings are machined with a tool 1860365000.

■ The rated diameter of the intermediate shaft journals is 35.593…35,618 mm in 31.940…31.960 Mm. If the actual diameters are smaller, the roller must be replaced.
