Activities for bleeding the hydraulic brake system.
The bleeding itself is performed by two people. One of them works on the bleed nipple, the other, sitting behind the wheel, presses the brake pedal, on the sign given by the first person. To bleed air from the hydraulic system, follow these steps:
- press the brake pedal as far as it will go and unscrew the bleed screw o 1/2-3/4 trading; the fluid from the system with any air will flow through the rubber tube into the vessel,
- close the bleed screw and slowly release pressure on the brake pedal,
- repeat these activities until now, until no more air bubbles appear in the liquid in the vessel; when liquid begins to drain from the tube. no bubbles, tighten the bleed screw with the brake pedal depressed, then unscrew the end with the rubber tube, screw the plug into the bleed screw and release pressure on the pedal.
