Installing the complete rear cover

■ Lower the engine.

■ Press a coiled bushing into the gearbox housing, supporting the drive shaft. If the shaft has a drive pulley z 77 teeth, it is necessary to additionally remove the main gear.

■ Tap the needle roller bearing race for the main shaft with the label side facing the gearbox.

■ Screw the guide sleeve to the clutch release bearing onto the gearbox housing. Observe the prescribed tightening torque for the screws.

■ Apply a thin layer of molybdenum disulphide paste to the sliding surface of the guide sleeve. Install the release bearing. fork and clutch release lever.

Folding the drive shaft

The gears in the F16 gearbox, The needle bearing and the synchronizer hub are placed on the shaft on one side. Complex gear synchroniser 3/4 heats up to 100 C and presses it onto the shaft under the press. Bearing seats should be coated with HD liquid grease. and the shaft seat with gear oil. It is always recommended to use new circlips.

Folding the main roller

■ Press the ball bearing onto the gear unit, the closed side facing outwards.

■ Fit the washer and secure the bearing with a new snap ring located in the groove of the gear unit.

■ Press the main shaft into the gear train from the side of the shorter spline. putting the cover sleeve on. The splines must not be damaged during these operations.

Folding the rear cover

■ Press the reverse shaft with the inserted locking ball into the rear cover as far as it will go.

■ Insert both slider locking pins into the openings in the cover.

■ Fork and track stick 1 /2 secure the gear with a new spring pin yes. that it protrudes from the hole on 2 mm.

■ Place the main and drive shafts in the cover, widełki i wokik 1/2 gear and the reverse gear. The sliding sleeve must be in the neutral position. The reverse fork groove must face upward when assembling, and the bore is coated with HD fluid grease. Place the thrust washer on the reverse shaft.

■ Fit new circlips correctly in the grooves of the main and drive shafts.

■ Install the forks and slides 3/4 gear and reverse gear and secure them with new dowel pins. The sliders should be supported at the top with a wooden block.

■ Insert three locating pins with springs and knock in new plugs. To ensure tight closure of the openings, slightly larger plugs can be used.

■ Switch on the sliding sleeve 2. run

■ Apply the gasket to the cover with grease and carefully insert the completed cover into the gearbox housing.

■ Remove the screws that secure the rear cover to the housing.

■ Install the speedometer drive. Coat the gears of the gears with anti-friction bearing grease. Screw on the securing plate.

■ Screw in the reverse light switch.

Installing the internal gear shift cover

■ Secure the rubber joint with a new pin coated with engine grease.

■ Fill the sealing ring with grease and stick it into the cover of the internal gear shift
■ Insert the control rod and selector into the cover, and then secure with a new dowel pin (should protrude on 2 mm).

■ Push the intermediate lever over the guide pin, a spring and a sleeve, which must be secured with a new snap ring.

■ Set the gearbox to neutral”, Apply the gasket to the housing with grease and place the complete cover in the gearbox.

■ Screw in the cover fixing screws and tighten them.

■ Screw in the gearbox breather.
