Checking the oil level

■ Unscrew the cap from the reservoir and take it out together with the measuring cup attached to it.

■ The oil level may not fall below the lower mark when cold.

■ In the case of oil at operating temperature (Ok. 80 C) the level should be up to the top mark.

■ When topping up the oil, use automatic transmission oil ATF.

■ Check, whether the plug seal is not |it is cracked or damaged and replace it if necessary.

■ If the oil loss is great, check the tightness of the hydraulic system.

■ After adding a larger quantity of oil, it is necessary to bleed the system. To do this, let the engine idle and turn the steering wheel several times from one stop to the next..

The oil level should be checked at least every 15 000 km or once a year.
