Swinging harrow

Swinging harrow.
The task of the pendulum harrow is to break up the lumps, leveling the surface of the roll, destruction of weeds and much more intensive than with the use of other tools for tilling the soil - pulling out couch grass roots. The swinging harrow has two parallel tine bars, which are reciprocating (swinging) in the direction transverse to the direction of movement of the aggregate. It is an implement mounted on the tractor and driven by the tractor's PTO shaft.
The drive from the tractor power take-off shaft is transmitted to the central rocker arm through the harrow drive shaft, flexible coupling, flywheel, eccentric and rocker lever. The task of the eccentric is to rotate one end of the lever, the result is that the other forked end drives the center rocker, which in turn transmits a swinging motion to the front and rear harrow bars. The beams swing left and right alternately. The intensity of operation of this harrow depends on the revolutions of the power take-off shaft and the speed of the tractor's movement. The working depth of the harrow is adjusted by lifting it on a hydraulic lift. The maximum working depth of the tines is 18 cm - when the harrow is completely lowered. The condition of good harrow operation is leveling it in the longitudinal and transverse direction in relation to the tractor axis. The swinging harrow is adapted to work with the C-330 and C-350 tractor. The best results of work with this harrow are obtained in the second field gear of the tractor and with independent PTO revolutions.
