Principles of technical service and work safety during plowing

Principles of technical service and work safety during plowing.
The performance and quality of plowing depends to a large extent on the technical condition of the plow. Due to the high resistance to work, plow frames may be deformed. The deformation of the frame causes uneven work of individual working teams. The amount of deformation of the plow frame is checked according to special templates. Such a template should be prepared for each newly purchased plow, when the frame and working units are still in the correct position. For this purpose, the new plow is placed on a board or a fibreboard and marked with paint, plow support points with a carpenter's pencil or slats (bodies and wheels) on a horizontal plane.
Sharpness of the shares is a very important condition for the proper operation of the plows. Plowshares, especially on rocky soils, quickly blunt and deform. Each plow should be equipped with spare blades, to be able to replace blunt and deformed plowshares with them while working in the field. The shares should be screwed on like this, so that they form a smooth surface with the mouldboard. The bolts for mounting plowshares should have heads that are recessed into the ploughshare cutouts, so that they do not protrude above its surface and do not create additional resistance during operation.
