Typical faults and malfunctions of particular types of brakes

Typical faults and malfunctions of particular types of brakes.
The brakes used in motor vehicles most often suffer from the following disadvantages: oily brake shoes, misalignment of brake pedal play, air in the hydraulic system, deregulation of the brake shoes, wear of the friction linings, and in mechanical brakes, the length of individual brake rods is irregularly adjusted.
Please note, that in the event of a leak in the brake system and a drop in air pressure in the air brake system, the brakes will brake poorly or fail at all. In such a situation, the driver is obliged to immediately seal the system. If you find a leak in the air pipes, tighten the union nuts, and if that does not help - whitewash with tin or replace the connectors. If the air is let through the hoses, they must be replaced; if air is escaping from the condensate drain cocks or the air valve, the valve cone or valve plug should be lapped, or replace the spring.
