Basic throttle adjustment

Weber carburetor 32 TSP

■ Set the choke lever to idle. The "fast" idle adjustment screw must then not come into contact with the cam disk.

■ Connect a vacuum gauge to the carburetor (in place of connecting the wire leading to the ignition distributor).

■ Start the engine.

■ Fully screw in the additional mix adjustment screw.

■ By operating the mixture composition adjusting screw, set the CO concentration within the range 1..2%.

■ Check the idle speed and vacuum to the ignition distributor. If necessary, correct with the throttle adjustment screw.

Solex carburetor 35 PDSI

■ Connect the tachometer.

■ Start the engine warmed up to operating temperature (oil temperature 60 C).

■ Close the start throttle, pulling the pull rod.

The idler lever must touch the bumper

■ Open the start throttle yes. that the screw makes contact with the cam disc. The engine speed should be 3400…3800 rpm.

■ Any speed correction can be made with the adjusting screw on the lever.
