There are some discrepancies between the nomenclature of engine oils used by the Polish Standard and the CPN assortment nomenclature. Engine oils are used both in passenger cars and trucks, for motorcycles, tractors and working equipment; in industrial construction, how: bucket excavators, trenchers, reciprocating air compressors, cranes, locomotives etc.. Packaging: recipient barrels, when it comes to oils of the "Lux" type” - also CPN sheets. . Oils for gears and shock absorbers. Synonym: gear oils. They are divided into regular gear oils and hypoid gear oils. They are used for transmissions of motor vehicles and equipment. Spindle oils. They are refined light lubricating oils, obtained from the processing of crude oil. Three types of spindle oils are produced: light – spindle 2, medium - spindle 5, special - anti-coagulation WZ 6 (formerly WZ6). The first two types of spindle oil are used for the lubrication of high-speed and lightly loaded machine bearings and as a fluid for hydraulic drives, brake, for hydraulic presses and for regulators of hoisting machines. WZ special oil 6 is used for precision mechanisms, like measuring apparatus, counting machines, writing, etc.. The packaging is made of tin barrels 200 1 with markings: Spindles 2, Spindles 5, WZ oil 6.
