Machine oils

img24Machine oils. They are refined lubricating oils, derived from the processing of crude oil. They exist 4 types of machine oils: light - 3, mediocre - 5, heavy - 6 and Z / 3. Light type - 3 it is used for high-speed lubrication (above 3000 obr./min.) and lightly loaded electric motor bearings, transmission etc.. Medium type - 5 it is used to lubricate bearings of moderately loaded machines or mechanisms, e.g. transmission bearings, external parts of smaller steam and internal combustion engines. Heavy type - 6 it is used for lubrication of slow-running bearings in heavily loaded machines, i.e.. heavy transmission bearings, gearboxes and worm drives. Type Z / 3 is used for machine bearings operating at 0 ° C, cranes etc.. Packaging: tin barrels 200 l, marked: Ol. you have. 3, Ol has it. 5, Ol. you have. 6, Ol. you have. Z / 3. Axial oils (wagon). They are mixtures of petroleum residues with petroleum distillates. Two types of axle oil are produced: L - summer and Z - winter. Railroad axle oils are used to lubricate engine bearings, switches, wagons, etc.. used equipment- on larger construction sites, especially industrial. The packaging consists of barrels 200 l tinplate, marked: Axial L and Axial Z. Oils for air and engine compressors. Synonym: compressor oils. These are the products of crude oil processing, normally or selectively refined. Must be distinguished, types: light - SD 6, medium - SD 10 and heavy - SD 18 (used as, engine oil). Compressor oils are used: light - for multistage air compressors with final compression up to 7 atm. and for blowers. air1; medium - for single-stage compressors with final compression up to 7 atm. and for multistage compressors with final compression up to 50 atm.; heavy for high pressure multistage compressors with final compression- 50—200 atm. The use of unrefined oils is not allowed. Packaging pose 200 l tin barrels, marked:, for light type - Oil SD6, for medium type - Oil SD10, for heavy type - SD Oil 18. Oils for refrigeration compressors. These are refined petroleum products. The Polish standard provides for two types of oils for refrigeration compressors, marked with numbers I and II. Oil I is used to lubricate the cylinders, stuffing boxes and valves of ammonia and carbon acid compressors with a cooling effect to 50000 kcal / hour. Oil II is used for the lubrication of cylinders, stuffing boxes and valves for ammonia and carbon acid compressors.
