Assembly and disassembly of the front axle. Removing and disassembling the rigid front axle is not difficult. On the other hand, disassembly of the independent suspension requires special care, especially when removing the coil springs of the front suspension, having a pretension. In order to remove the coil spring of the independent suspension, it is necessary to raise and support the front of the car, then unscrew the nuts of the bolts securing the coil spring thrust cup. Depends on the number of fastening bolts, e.g. in the case of four, in place of two of them, smooth spindles of appropriate length are used. Then the thrust cup is lifted with a jack and unscrewed the remaining nuts of the mounting bolts. As the lift is lowered, the spring preload decreases, which allows its removal. The described method of disassembling the coil spring ensures safe operation only with the sufficient length of the guide pins, inserted temporarily in place of some bolts securing the thrust cup. The disassembly of the remaining parts of the independent suspension is not difficult. After disassembly, all parts are cleaned, and then subjected to visual inspection and verification, specifying the scope of repair work. Install the front axle in the reverse order. After assembly, remember to lubricate the rubbing parts, pressing the grease through the appropriate grease nipples.
