Coolant pump replacement (engines 1,3 and 1,6 D)

■ Disconnect the battery mass cable.

■ Disconnect the bottom rubber hose from the radiator. Collect the leaked liquid in a vessel.

■ Loosen the alternator mounting and remove the V-belt

■ Remove the toothed belt cover. Position the piston 1 cylinder to position ZZ and remove the toothed belt

■ In the engine 1,3 unscrew the fan bracket and remove the rear toothed belt cover.

■ In the engine 1,6 D Remove idler roller and rear toothed belt cover.

■ Remove the coolant pump by unscrewing the three fastening screws Use a new gasket when reassembling the pump Screw the pump fastening screws by hand first Install the rear belt cover, intermediate roller (engine 1,6 D), fan bracket (engine 1,3) and a toothed belt. Only then should the pump mounting bolts be tightened to the torque 8 Nm. Reverse the order to disassembly for the rest of the steps. Fill the system with fluid
