Clutch pedal adjustment

Clutch pedal adjustment.
The idle movement of the clutch pedal is most often regulated by changing the length of the rod connecting the pedal with the switch-off lever. By regulating the idle movement of the pedal, we also regulate the distance between the clutch thrust bearing (support ring) and the clutch release levers (internal clearance). The value of this distance is usually approx. 3 Mm, and with the wear of the friction linings - it decreases. The driver should not adjust the clutch play by turning the adjustment screws on the clutch disengagement levers, due to the risk of incorrect setting of these levers. Such adjustment is carried out in a repair shop.
